I rarely if ever give website endorsements, beauty being in the eye of the beholder, but I do want to officially acknowledge that when it comes to boating, the art of building boats, or generally discussing anything about boats, BoatDesign.net is a remarkable compendium of information. Marine propulsion is my particular muse, from paddle wheels to water jets, and I have learned many of the design insights from leads that started from BoatDesign forums. Many times I've found myself discovering ideas I hadn't thought of before, or the reason behind why the ones I had thought of failed. Most of the contributors range from novice (like me) to professional and I recommend that any boat builder, or hobbyist interested in boating building or design, make this website a go to resource.
